CLF In-Person Service Guidelines

Our current plan is to begin holding in-person services on Sunday, June 14, with reduced

capacity, distancing guidelines, and other recommendations in place.

The spiritual and physical health of our members and attenders is a priority. We have laid out

guidelines that we believe are necessary to be followed based on the information given to us by

our government and health officials. We will continue to monitor this situation and reevaluate on

a daily basis. These guidelines will be updated and adjusted as needed moving forward.

Thank you for following these guidelines for your safety, as well as the safety of others!

We look forward to being with you in person again soon.

We will continue to provide online services for those who would prefer to pray and worship at

home. Join us online on Sundays at 10:30 AM on Youtube (clf_va) or Facebook (clfva).

Important : On June 14th, screening will begin at 9:30 AM for those attending service.

Dream Team members serving on Sunday morning will begin screening at 8:45 AM to ensure

you are ready to serve before 9:30 AM.

Masks & Face Coverings

In accordance with Virginia’s Executive Order 63, all individuals must wear face masks or face

coverings at all times. Please come prepared with your own mask. Exemptions to these

guidelines include: while participating in a religious ritual; anyone with a health condition that

keeps them from wearing a face covering; children under the age of two; and a person seeking

to communicate with a hearing-impaired person, for which the mouth needs to be visible.

Children over the age of two are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering to the extent

possible.

Social Distancing

Individuals should observe social distancing at all times, which entails maintaining a minimum of

6-feet distance from others. We ask you to do this as a courtesy and out of respect to those

around you. Please do not hug, shake hands, or participate in any other form of close contact.

Vulnerable individuals are encouraged to continue utilizing online services during this time.

Parking & Check-in

The Parking Team will assist attenders with parking. Handicapped and Guest spaces are

available. After parking, please proceed to one of the check in tables as directed by the parking

attendant. Please continue 6 feet of distance between family groups. Lines are marked on the

ground to assist. We will conduct touchless temperature screening prior to entering the building.

Health & Safety

Our custodians and team members will disinfect all surfaces before and after every service.

Everyone will be screened for symptoms prior to entering the building on Sunday according to

the COVID-19 Screening Guidelines. We will have screening tables set up outside the building

on either side of the main entrance.

The screening will include:

1. No-touch temperature reading (100 degrees or less permitted)

2. Brief screening questions in regards to symptoms and exposure

3. Individuals will use hand sanitizer provided

We advise those in our church family at higher risk for severe illness to please continue to

worship with us online for now. If you are sick, please do not come to church in person, but join

us for church online. If you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for

COVID-19, have traveled internationally or to a domestic hot spot, please join us online.

groups to a seat. Larger sections of seats are available for large family groups to sit together.

Additional seating (overflow) will be available in the Kid Life area, as needed. We will not exceed

50% seating capacity in the auditorium or overflow areas to allow for proper distancing.

available for pick up at the Welcome Desk and for first time guests at check-in. Drop cards in the

offering containers upon exiting the auditorium.

placed on a table at each exit to allow individuals an option to give as they leave the auditorium.
